Sanyo Denki expands San Ace 9RA Series with new compact 40 mm and 52 mm fans

As electrical and electronic equipment becomes smaller and more densely packed, effective thermal management must be achieved within increasingly restricted spaces. The new San Ace 9RA models have been developed to help engineers meet these challenges while maintaining efficient, reliable cooling performance.

Both additions feature a slim 15 mm depth and retain the key benefits of the existing 9RA Series, including low-noise operation and improved energy efficiency, with power consumption reduced by up to 60%.

Compared with previous models, the new fans offer noise reductions of up to 6 dB(A), while life expectancy has increased by 1.5 times, from 40,000 hours to 60,000 hours at 60°C.

San Ace 52 × 15 mm

The new 52 × 15 mm fan is available in 5 V, 12 V and 24 V versions and provides:

• Airflow of up to 14.4 CFM
• Static pressure of up to 61 Pa
• A compact 15 mm-deep profile
• Suitability for applications including industrial equipment, power electronics and medical systems

San Ace 40 × 15 mm

Designed for even smaller installations, the 40 × 15 mm model is also available in 5 V, 12 V and 24 V versions and offers:

• Airflow of up to 8.1 CFM
• Static pressure of up to 61 Pa
• A compact 15 mm-deep profile
• Suitability for compact electronics, medical devices and control equipment

The two new models extend the San Ace 9RA Series, giving designers greater flexibility when selecting a cooling solution for equipment where space, noise and power consumption are key considerations.
