EAO Ltd has introduced the new Sanyo Denki 120AD range of 120mm by 25mm ACDC fans. These energy efficient axial fans provide a maximum static pressure of 62 Pa and maximum airflow of 2.35 m3/min or 83 CFM.
The expected life has increased by 2.4 times compared with Sanyo Denki’s conventional AC models giving the new fans a 60,000 hours MTBF at 60°C and 90,000hour MTBF at 40°C, ensuring trouble-free long-term operation. These fans feature a wide 100 VAC to 240 VAC operating voltage supporting both 100 and 200 VAC systems.
The integrated ACDC conversion means that these AC powered, brushless DC fans operate at a higher efficiency and could reduce power consumption by up to 70%. The combination of longer life and reduced running costs ensure a competitive full-life cost.
The built-in pulse sensor (tacho) connection can be used to monitor the fan speed and assist in fault diagnosis. The optional PWM control can be used to further reduce power consumption and fan noise using a PWM controller such as the Sanyo Denki 9PC8666X-S01.
